Happy Anniversary to Us!
Today we celebrate 8 years together. And we owe a big thanks to Grandparents Stevenson for acting as babysitters so we could enjoy a dinner out. We had a nice evening at the Yard House in triangle square, then went for a short walk to get a cup of coffee before heading home. We made a point - and were successful - about not talking about the babies. Not that we don't enjoy them, but it was nice to have a few hours where we weren't discussing feeding schedules and dirty diapers.
We came home to find them fast asleep in their arms, he in great-grandpa's, she in great-grandma's. They were even able to get them to sleep in the crib for an hour and a half, something we have been struggling to do these past few days. Job well done grandparents! We greatly appreciated you helping us out.
Over dinner we did talk about the next 8 years together, but the only thing we could come up with was a decision to attend the 2022 World Cup - wherever in the world it will be held. The decision will be made by FIFA in December, so we will begin our planning then.
